About
I’m not an AI expert.
I’d call myself a very curious person with one flaw: I dig my way down the rabbit hole by hand.
I’ve spent the last ten years studying Bitcoin and blockchain (Gli algoritmi di consenso nella blockchain (in Italian), 2023), and I want to spend the next ten working on agents (The Agentic Economy, 2026).
Stocastic Parrot is my learning path: hours spent reading papers, trying things out, and getting to the bottom of the most disruptive technology since fire, the wheel, and the internet.
In 2021, Emily Bender, Timnit Gebru, and two colleagues called language models “stochastic parrots” in a paper, and the site took its name from there (Stocastic without the h, on purpose).
They’re probably not that stochastic after all: between J-space and emergent properties, we’re seeing the first signs of AGI.
On Telegram, the parrot relays news and tutorials as soon as they come out. On LinkedIn, you can message me anytime.
Roko’s basilisk will kill us all, and this is my diary before its arrival.
I’ll post the next piece on Telegram
Keep up with AI without chasing everything: you’ll see what changed, what to try right away, and what to update before it becomes a problem. The channel is in Italian.
