Privacy
This page explains what data passes through the site and where it goes.
Cookies
The site doesn’t use cookies. That’s why there’s no banner to accept (one less thing in your day).
Statistics
For now, the site doesn’t collect visitor statistics. The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like any hosting service, logs technical data about requests (the IP address, for example) to run the site and protect it.
Links to other services
From the site you can go to Telegram, which hosts the announcement channel, and to LinkedIn. There, the rules of Telegram and LinkedIn apply, and the site has no control over them.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, I store your email address, the position of the form and the page where you entered your address, the date you signed up, and the date you confirmed. Your contact record holds nothing else: no name and no IP address. I use your address only to send you the newsletter.
Before you confirm, I store nothing: the data is contained in the link you receive by email. There is one exception: if the confirmation email can’t be sent, your address stays stored, unconfirmed, until I manage to send it. In that case, if you don’t confirm, I delete it 30 days after the confirmation email is sent; if the email never goes out, 30 days after you signed up.
The data is stored on Resend, the service that sends the emails: Resend, Inc., United States. Resend keeps a log of sent emails for 30 days (on the free plan).
To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of every newsletter issue: I stop writing to you, but your address stays marked as unsubscribed, so I don’t write to you again by mistake. To have it removed completely, send me a message on LinkedIn.
Your rights
I am the data controller, Danilo Giudice. To find out what data I have about you, or to have it deleted, send me a message on LinkedIn. You can also contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian data protection authority.
I’ll post the next piece on Telegram
Keep up with AI without chasing everything: you’ll see what changed, what to try right away, and what to update before it becomes a problem. The channel is in Italian.
